Foodie Crush of the Decade - Patrick Mulvaney! and where you shoudn't eat in Natomas!

Ok so celebrity food crushes are my weakness! and we have an all-star here in Sacramento, he's not only the Brad Pitt/ George Clooney of the Sacramento food world, but he's a genuinely nice guy and a philanthropist as well! sigh! Yes Ladies and Gentlemen, it's Patrick Mulvaney! of Mulvaney's B&L.
This chef is constantly cooking up goodness like smoked salmon with creme fresh served with brown bread (to die for!) and warm, hand pulled mozzarella, with summer heirloom tomatoes and aged balsamic vinegar! and if his food wasn't enough, he's classically witty too, serving a very Big Lebowski-isk dessert of white-Russian panna cotta and a coconut bowling ball (chocolate covered macaroon) and riding a cruiser around the streets of downtown with flames on it!

From his work with kids in our inner city schools involving an annual dinner which includes: Designing a 3 course dinner and helping the kids shop (at local farmers markets no less), prep, and execute the dinner for the parents! and these are 4th graders! that takes the kind of patience I will never have!
This man/ chef/ celebrity has no end to goodness! You can catch them on Facebook for their up-to-date restaurant events at:

Oh and quit note of place NOT to go:
Center Court, Natomas
Reasons: Food: Horrible, really bad overcooked, commercial (SYSCO) nachos, and hot wings,
Service: bad, if you aren't a buxom blond with a low IQ there little chance of a quick drink
Ambiance: glorified sports bar at best, with every single picture of Chris Webb, the place is covered in all of his glory day's jerseys

Quick tip: if you wanna good beer and hot wings, along with good service go to Rubicon and leave this place in the suburbs where it belongs!!
