The Artistic Cry of a Nation Ends in Sacramento - Check Out RENT Before it's Gone!

February 3-7, 2010

RENT, starring original Broadway cast members ADAM PASCAL and ANTHONY RAPP! RENT is the classic musical about love, friendship and community, and the seventh longest-running show in Broadway history. Now, RENT is coming to Sacramento in a new touring production starring original Broadway cast members Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp! Over the course of its groundbreaking 12-year New York run, RENT transformed the definition of musical theater -- and changed Broadway forever.

Set in NYC's East Village RENT is a modern take on the classic Puccini opera, La Boheme. It tells the unforgettable story of a group of young artists learning to survive, falling in love, finding their voices and living for today.

This is not only an epic movie for the Generation X-ers and the Millennial's, but it also a bit life-changing for the drama crowd as well; as Sacramento is the last leg of the US Broadway tour, this could very well be the last time these powerful characters are ever played by these award-winning actors. If you haven't seen the movie, or have yet to hear about the musical that has rocked the nation with it's music, message and media then come out from underneath that rock and check out this show - buy far one of the best performances I've ever seen at the Community Center Theater. From laughing in the first act to crying in the second every one's reaction varied, but all were pronounced, this is a performance that draws emotion.

Check out RENT before it's gone on February 7, 2010!
