Sexy cheekyness all around! This recent return of Chicago to Sacramento's Musical theater was very crowd pleasing! With notable actor John O'Hurley playing the deceptively charming Billy Flynn which was almost vaudevillian in style together, with the sexy company dancers most numbers were reminiscent of the follies, feathers and all! This was a up and down performance all around, but true to Bob Fosse style it was all about JAZZ! Expertly outfitted in William Long's all-black costumes -- men's and women's alike -- are so tight and sheer you can see these people are serious hard bodies. Surprisingly the character of Velma Kelly was very understated by Brenda Braxton, but the up and commer criminal character of Roxie Hart played by the sensational Bianca Marroquín, was better depicted than I have ever seen! Even bringing lesser numbers to new heights! Very entertaining and sensual performances all around, check it out before the 21st if you get a chance!
