Camelot Shines through Sacramento

“Don’t let it be forgot, that once there was a spot, for one brief, shining moment that was known as Camelot.” Be transported back to the magical and mythical days of medieval England when "Camelot" comes to Music Circus August 2-7.

Arthur, Guenevere, Lancelot and Merlyn come alive in Lerner and Loewe’s inspiring musical of love, intrigue, idealism and magic. Moving ballads such as “If Ever I Would Leave You,” “How to Handle a Woman” and “Camelot” will have audiences tangled in England’s most fabled love triangle.

The cast of “Camelot” will be led by Davis Gaines as King Arthur, Lisa O'Hare as Guenevere, and Sean Hayden as Lancelot. Davis Gaines is best known for performing the role of the Phantom in “Phantom of the Opera” over 2,000 times. He also was the lead in “Whistle Down the Wind” for the world premiere. In London, Lisa O'Hare has performed the title role of “Mary Poppins " and as Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady.” Sean Hayden has performed in the national Broadway tours of "Mamma Mia!" and “Light in the Piazza” as well as in various concerts. The production will be directed by Glenn Casale with Dan Mojica choreographing.
