Dinner on the Farm, Yes Please!

Interested in eating scrumptious food for a good cause? Drinking fancy libations and making a difference in the way children learn about food education? How about heading to one of the swankiness eating affairs in Northern California?

Dinner on the Farm 2011 Menu 

Cocktail Reception 
Dark & Stormy Butternut Squash Soup w/ crème fraiche and pineapple mint 
-Assorted Pizzas from the outdoor oven -Melon and Mission Pixtos (upon availability) 

Salad Course 
-Roasted Chicories & Delicata Squash Salad w/caerphilly cheese, candied seeds, and orange-brown butter vinaigrette 
-Seasonal Greens w/ cherry tomatoes, breakfast radishes, and sherry-mustard vinaigrette Mid Course -Marinated Beets w/ ricotta salata, herbs, and citrus vinaigrette -Handkerchief Pasta w/ roasted chicken, spinach, tomatoes, and romano 

Main Course 
-Lamb Roulade w/ caponata, grilled bread w/ tomato jam and white anchovy 
-Roast Pig w/ braised collard greens, and twice baked yams Above accompanied with apple butter, mustard, and hot sauce Cheese Course 
-Comté and Tomme w/ candied walnuts, fig jam, and pickled strawberry preserves 

Dessert 
-Chocolate-Walnut Frangipane Tart w/ candied walnuts and vanilla chantilly
-Pear Tart w/ almond crème, fresh huckleberries, and vanilla ice cream
