The Grand Opening of Red Lotus was as expected and more, with line out the door and a full bar there was bearly room to walk through the crowd that were all busy schmoozing! With an Oriental red & black theme, and smacks of color everywhere the decor is creative but subtle and inviting. The festivities included Taiko drummers and Chinese Dragon and lots of free food, which were all highlights that Red Lotus will be featuring on there menu. With a soft opening of over two weeks, this formal breaking of bread signifies the new beginning of an additional venture by chef/ owner Billy Ngo, whose other restaurant includes Kru - Japanese/ French fusion - known as some of the best sushi in town; Red Lotus is his attempt to work the same magic with Chinese food.
