Enotria's Wine Bar and Restaurant is Sacramento's Newest and Oldest Restaurant is re-opening this weekend to a Valentines Weekend with a complete re-model of everything from the kitchens to adding a more modernized wine bar creating a more dynamic style than ever before.
From an extensive wine list (including pre-set flight choices), to a growing bottle list, and embracing the new cocktail scene as well, Enotria is putting it's best food forward in this resurgence.
Including larger seated courtyard that should be able to accommodate weddings, and large events, they've even attained the original muralist to expand on a 30 year old piece.
With more emphasis on local artist than ever before, all art is showcased throughout the ambient-lit restaurant - as well as an upgrade to their wine storage (all climate controlled storage, and a locker for the really special bottles), which is quite important to all us wine geeks.
Embracing modern with their classic style they've always had you can see the new touches all over the place. Savory Tasting Note: Wonderful potato croquet's on the bar menu!
Embracing that wonderful cocktail culture, try the Pear-tini; normally I hate tini-style drinks, but this one is a winner - Pear vodka, Madagascar vanilla vodka, lemon, and house made Cinnamon simple syrup.
A take on the classic sidecar, Enotria's whipping up "The Lightrail"
